LanSpy from LanTricks is a full featured network host and port scanner. It supports fast, highly configurable scans and the scan results are presented in an easy-to-read format. As seen below, the data the scan collects is presented in an expandable drop-down menu, while the scanning progress is shown in realtime in the lower container of the graphical user interface.
LanSpy offers the following configuration options.
This section in the configuration options lets you create a customized list of commands that can be run on hosts you scan when you right-click on them in the LanSpy interface. The four commands included by default are shown below but you can add your own.
As of this writing, LanSpy v184.108.40.206 is the latest version available and seems not to have changed since 2005. LanTricks’ website claims that LanSpy works only with Windows 2000/XP/2003, but it seemed to work fine on Windows 7.
